ICYMI: Our foodbank is moving to Addison Road Community Organisation!
We are making some changes to the centre so that we can have more face-to-face conversations & see more of the people we support. We are currently doing some mini renovations at our Newtown office. 👷♀️
From Monday 21 September, please drop grocery and toiletry donations to 142 Addison Rd, Marrickville between 9am and 3pm.

Volunteer Karen supports people seeking asylum as a job advisor & by helping to run employment workshops - and has gone above and beyond to help the centre in other ways. 💙
Since the pandemic Karen has assisted with foodbank deliveries 🚙. And for years she's worked alongside Mummies Paying it Forward to get essentials to parents of newborns and young children 👶
"When my (now teenage) children were young I often discussed with friends how we wished there was some way we could donate our good quality children's clothing and prams directly to those who needed them most," she said.
"Then I heard about Mummies Paying It Forward, an amazing volunteer organisation who facilitate the collection and sorting of quality donated items and then distribute them to families and charities around Sydney.
"As I was already volunteering at the ASC I contacted MPIF and started doing regular pickups and deliveries of donated items to the centre."
