Details:
- Learn the requirements for serving alcohol.
- This course is required learning for anyone involved in the sales or service of alcohol, including food and beverage attendants and waiters, people working in bars, people working in liquor shops, security guards working in licensed premises.
- After successfully completing the course you will be eligible to apply to Services NSW for an RSA Competency Card

More information:
- SITFAB002 – Provide responsible service of alcohol (RSA). Responsible practices must be undertaken wherever alcohol is sold or served, including where alcohol samples are served during on-site product tastings.
- This unit applies to any workplace where alcohol is sold or served, including all types of hospitality venues, packaged liquor outlets and wineries, breweries and distilleries.
- The unit applies to all levels of sales personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises. Those selling or serving alcohol may include food and beverage attendants; packaged liquor sales persons selling in person, over the phone or online; winery, brewery and distillery cellar door staff; and supplier sales representatives.
- The unit also applies to security staff who monitor customer behaviour and to the licensee who is ultimately responsible for responsible service of alcohol (RSA) management.

Details:
- The Hospitality Without Borders program is for people who have overseas experience in hospitality industry jobs AND for people who are new to the industry.
- With this program, you’ll gain access to industry knowledge, training in essential basic skills like food safety and hygiene or Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), barista training and all the way up to full qualifications.
- As well as enrolling in hospitality skills training modules, all participants must do training in Australian work culture.
How to enrol:
- Register interest at here. Please note that you will be applying on the LiveHire website for FREE help to get hospitality qualifications
- We recommend that you upload your resume when asked to do so.
- You must provide the following information on LiveHire:
  - Your address
  - Answer all questions about work availability
  - Answer all application questions. Please choose “Yes” for the question about migrant and also enter a language (not English)
- You can skip all other questions, just Submit.
- Email employment@asylumseekerscentre.org.au after you submit your registration form and we will flag it to the Hospitality Without Borders program manager.

- You must be confident in using computers to access online learning materials and be able to read and write in English.
- You will need to obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to take part in the training.

More information:
- After submitting, two things will happen:
  - You will receive an email asking you to complete an online Hospitality Without Borders Interview. In this interview you will need to type answers to 5 questions. You don’t have to complete the interview in one session – the system will save your answers and email you a link to rejoin. However, you do need to complete the interview within 48 hours of getting the invitation. After completing the interview you will receive a report that highlights your strengths and potential areas of improvement.
  - You will receive a phone call from one of the team members at Hospitality Training Network to talk more about your interests, existing skills and experience in hospitality and work goals. This conversation will help you to decide together on which training modules to take.
