The benefit of your bequest
Thank you for considering leaving a gift to the Asylum Seekers Centre in your Will.
The lasting gift you offer allows people seeking asylum to hold hope. Your legacy ensures the Asylum Seekers Centre can continue our vital service and support of people as they move towards independence. Thank you for sharing our vision.
There are a number of ways you can remember the Asylum Seekers Centre in your Will. (Perhaps a graphic of the below info?)
- With a residuary bequest you can leave the remainder of your estate to the Asylum Seekers Centre after you have made provision for your loved ones.
- You may prefer to nominate a percentage of your estate that you want reserved for the Asylum Seekers Centre.
- Or, alternatively, if you can leave Asylum Seekers Centre a specific sum of money, which is known as a pecuniary bequest. You can also leave particular items such as shares, paintings, or property in your will.
If you already have a will, you can add a codicil to include your bequest.
When you have made your decision, it’s important that you let your family know and that you seek advice from your solicitor or the Public Trustees in your state.
