Where possible the Asylum Seekers Centre distributes material donations to people in Sydney. However, due to our limited storage space and resources, we are not able to accept all goods offered to us.
Below is a list of the items we are currently able to accept and some alternative options for your support.

After talking with the people we support, we have moved from a foodbank to a voucher system that allows people dignity and freedom of choice to buy their own groceries, as well as ensuring that they can purchase culturally appropriate food.

Devices (mobile phones, laptops and tablets) are essential for people to keep connected to the internet, to friends and family, to work and to the community.

Alternatively, you can make a tax-deductible donation to support ASC’s services, which gives us
the ability to allocate funds where they’re most needed – including food, healthcare and wellbeing, education, employment and community connections.
