Now is the time for the Australian Government to support the people of Afghanistan by increasing humanitarian visas to at least 20,000 Afghans this year.
It is important that the government hears from you now, so the community’s interest and concern for the Afghan people is obvious.

There are thousands of refugees from Afghanistan in Australia and many in our ASC community. Our hearts are with them and their families as they face the winding back of rights for women, democracy and a free media. The danger for women and girls, and members of the Hazara and other minority communities should make them a top priority for our government’s protection.
