What is coercive control?

Coercive control is a type of abuse that can happen in relationships—it includes things like threats, controlling money, isolating someone from friends or family, and tracking where you go. It’s now a crime in NSW. The NSW Government has free information in many languages to help you understand your rights and get support – including English, Korean, Assyrian, Farsi,  Nepali, Punjabi and Filipino/Tagalog.

Translated information about coercive control is available on the NSW Government’s website for FREE.
